Zero Bond vs Soho House New York: Which Membership Fits Your Week?
By the Membrsonly team · 8 October 2026

The best membership is the one you would actually use on an ordinary week. When you compare Zero Bond with Soho House New York, begin with that week: where you spend your evenings, whether you want time by a pool, and what kind of room you need between appointments.
This is a comparison of published membership information, not a firsthand review of the people, service or atmosphere inside. We cannot tell you which has the better crowd or guarantee that either will admit you.
Start with the location
Zero Bond is in NoHo; Soho House New York is in the Meatpacking District. Look at the journey from home and work before weighing the reputation of either name. A place nearby can fit a Tuesday evening in a way that a long trip cannot. Zero Bond profile · Soho House New York profile
What the published prices tell us
Zero Bond publishes $750 initiation plus $2,750 annual dues for its 30-and-under tier, and $1,000 plus $3,850 for General membership. Its age descriptions overlap at 30; confirm your applicable tier. Those charges total $3,500 or $4,850 for the first year before extras.

Soho House New York lists Local House at $950 quarterly, or $475 quarterly for under-27 members. Four quarters equal $3,800 or $1,900. Joining charges need confirmation, so these recurring amounts are not complete first-year quotes.

If working there matters
Soho House’s New York policy limits laptop use by room and time; it should not be treated as unrestricted coworking. Confirm the current policy and call arrangements before planning a working day there. Zero Bond’s membership-rate page does not provide comparable work-use rules; ask directly.
A practical test is to describe your actual routine to the membership team: two afternoon meetings, a video call, or a few hours with a laptop. A general promise of access does not establish that each of those activities is permitted.
If the pool is a priority
Soho House New York requires pool reservations. Its hotel also accepts nonmember bedroom bookings, with house access during the stay subject to bookings and conditions. A stay may be an alternative to annual membership; it is not equivalent to joining. Zero Bond’s cited rate page does not establish a comparable pool benefit.
How to think about applying
Both have public application routes. Zero Bond lists cultural member events among its benefits, while its lifetime membership is invitation-only. An application link does not promise acceptance, a short wait or access to every location. Ask each club about references, timing, guest rules and the plan you would actually receive.
Our editorial take
Choose your questions before choosing a club. If pool access and the Meatpacking location are important, Soho House gives you concrete policies to investigate. If NoHo fits your routine and Zero Bond’s listed benefits appeal, investigate its tier and admissions terms. Neither conclusion depends on celebrity sightings or an assumed social payoff.
Ask for a written breakdown covering joining fees, dues, applicable taxes, required spending, renewal and cancellation. Then decide what you would use often enough to justify the fixed cost.
